Had a realization today that negative self talk is a form of self harm and that wasn’t something I thought about before. So now I’m using that thought as motivation to stop negative self talk. Idk how productive it’ll be but I’m gonna try

Try substituting your words with something absurd or sarcastic. Like if you mess up on something don’t say “I suck at this” say “I’m the best in the whole world” or “this is a masterpiece” it doesn’t have to be genuine to help your mental health, half the game is tricking your brain into a better mindset.

Also also big one, instead of “I wanna kms” say anything else like “I wanna run away and join the circus” or “I want to become a bird and fly away” effectively means the same thing of “I want to quit everything” but better for tricking your brain into a better mindset
