It won’t fix you (nothing works like that), but if you find a good and qualified therapist who suits your needs, they can help you pick through the thoughts and assumptions and patterns that may be holding you back.

A therapist will reassure you and tie you into your own history, supporting your delusions whatever they may be. Nobody is coming to save you, start swimming
