Was it because you wouldn’t brush or did it seem more stress related? I swear I’ve had to get so many cavities filled even though I try to brush twice a day and floss

Ive been through this too, I got a crown and 5 new fillings last year because of it (also damage from bruxism they refused to diagnose for 3 years) Best advice i can give is avoid much sugar/carbs because that feeds the bacteria that causes decay and swish some water after eating anything. Also remember brushing even for 30 seconds, mouth rinse, anything, is better than nothing. Drinking tons of water also mitigates the bacteria by preventing dry mouth

Also investing in a Waterpik has been a lifesaver for when i dont have the energy/will to go througb my whole dental care routine (waterpik, brush, floss, mouthwash)

in my case it was primarily from a lack of brushing, although i can see stress definitely playing a role in worsening dental health (when stressed you’re prone to more infections/getting sick easier)
