 After years of being suicidal and not even believing I’d make it to 16, not only did I make it to 18 but I’m now 21! Life does get better!

It does and if you ever have these encounters later on in life; just go to God or a therapist. But save this “I am not a danger to myself or others around me, I love myself and I appreciate the other human beings around me.”

Thanks! I already went wine tasting and my parents bought a bottle. And I’m going to go out to a bar with my brother. I deserve this! I hope everyone feels the way I do on their birthday or in life. It’s almost euphoric

Oh absolutely! I haven’t had active suicidal ideation in a few years now but I still struggle with self worth, confidence, battling my anxiety etc. but today I’ve won over all my struggles and my 14 year old hospitalized self would be so proud.
