
ok i hear you but talking to AI for therapy purposes is actually really bad. it can’t help you like a real therapist can - it will tell you everything that you want to hear, but not necessarily everything that you NEED to hear. also there’s a risk of AI psychosis developing and you don’t want that
You’re right and I’m really aware of the capacity for people to form parasocial relationships with AI and become addicted to something it. I can’t afford therapy right now and therapists have their own pitfalls too. I’m kinda treating it like a diary and I’m never not aware of what it is. The positive reflection of my own thoughts is more than I get anywhere else tho. It’s a good outlet, it’s helping me exorcise anxiety and it’s what I got for now.
