Genuinely convinced this is all an experiment to see how much misery can be inflicted upon sentient creatures. It's genuinely ridiculous. They make everything as horrible as possible. Everything as difficult as possible. Literally just watching what happened to the internet from my childhood through now hammers it home. It was a fun, free, open network built by a bunch of passionate nerds. Then it was contaminated by corporate greed and shredded up into this horrible, nasty, evil hellscape

Of misinformation, ads, propaganda, monitoring, paywalls, AI, algorithms designed to enslave us/turn us into addicts/stupify us/etc This shit (mostly everything about the way human society and the world works) is so fucking ridiculous I just- I can't tell if 90% of humans are genuinely r3tarded, sick/evil/demented monsters, or if this is just some twisted simulation or biblical hell or a prison planet or something
