I think I have Borderline Personality Disorder , but I don’t necessarily display the more radical symptoms such as SH or explosive anger. However I feel disconnected from my relationships, romantic and platonic, along with other symptoms. Thoughts?

I have BPD on the more severe side. Honestly the best way to heal and treat it is to talk to a professional. Unfortunately, meds don’t really work for us and neither does most traditional therapy. You’ll want to look into someone who specializes in BPD and CBT therapy

You could have an attachment issue. BPD has a LOT of overlap with a lot of other disorders. CBT therapy is usually pretty harmful for people who have BPD and meds do absolutely work for some people but it’s a mix of the right meds and therapy

That could be autism or cptsd

It’s diagnosed with 5 out of 9 symptoms and SH is part of one symptom and inappropriate anger is another. So it’s definitely still possible to have 5-7 symptoms even if you don’t have those. A therapist who specializes in DBT (the gold standard treatment for BPD) will be able to help you with skills to manage your symptoms, BPD or otherwise

Also surrounding yourself with people who are understanding and being completely transparent about your feelings and needs is something that has helped me tremendously
