Sorry to hear OP. Even when comes to car insurance, staying on the family policy is the only way to keep it down. Basically insurance wants all the different kinds of insurance like home and auto to be bundled to offer meaningful discounts. Prices are designed to where only family budgets can afford when before individuals can with one job. Rent is the same way. It’s corrupt.
