
This is bad advice but worst case scenario scenarios “punish yourself,” like for example I was bad and didn’t go to bed last night like I should have so I don’t get to take a nap today, I have to push through until bed. It atleast guarantees one good night of sleep, but I know not everyone can do that kind of schedule
I have chronic insomnia, have had it for decades… Melatonin does not work for me, and most medications go from being WAY too much to doing nothing. What has helped: edibles + routine. I HATE IT! I absolutely LOATHE getting up at 6:30am (class at 8am this semester), but I was able to stop using edibles about a month ago. I just need to keep a consistent schedule :(
