As someone studying counseling, I’d say sensitivity isn’t a flaw — it’s just feeling things more deeply. The hard part is unlearning the idea that being yourself is a problem. Healing happens when you find your own boundaries and people who respect them. It’s a process, but it’s worth it.
i 100% relate to this. recently i’ve started embracing my sensitivity, and embracing the big feelings i have. if someone hurts me, and doesn’t see my worth, screw them! feelings are what make us human, and i’m not watering myself down for someone else. don’t be afraid to be sensitive, it’s what makes you who you are <3
