It’s not your fault. I have accidentally injured and killed an animal before, and I know that it’s just a sad accident—it’s completely not my nature to harm a living thing (even ants). I can forgive myself and you should too. it can be sad, but don’t beat yourself up about it.

if it makes u feel any better i accidentally hit a squirrel that was already dead and i had to pull over to sob and tell myself im evil for an embarrassingly long amount of time LOL
