I miss having real emotionally intelligent conversations. I just want to have friends where I feel cared for, like my time is important and like I’m not a second choice. I just want to be enough.

Yeah, I’m struggling to keep friends in college bc emotional maturity feels like such a rollercoaster. Like one moment we’re discussing personal traumas and what we’ve done to grow past it, and the next moment we’re calling shared responsibility “victim blaming”

I made this post hoping I would hear from others, not for the likes or anything, and yet I haven’t heard from anyone who’s upholding a conversation. This just falls on deaf ears and it hurts still.

People blame God for humanity’s stupidity 😒. I mean for me sermons don’t help, but meeting with my pastor or man does

Consider the fact that someone is being emotionally vulnerable online and doesn’t want to be proselytized at this moment in time.

Bro I’m not trynna convert anybody. I know so many emotionally intelligent people at church, and none outside. It’s just the advice they were asking for. I’m not gonna lie to them.

Bro what?????? If you don’t acknowledge a single emotionally intelligent person outside of your religion maybe you need to broaden your perspective. Also telling people to go to church is literally attempting conversion to a religion

That’s not what I said. I said I don’t personally know any emotionally intelligent people outside of church. I end up being the one giving advice to them, not the other way around. I’m not about to debate you in an anonymous comment section bro.

Too late, square up. I do have the ability to read (despite appearances) and I sincerely don’t see how both comments can be interpreted any other way than putting yourself on a pedestal as the only one able to mediate feelings outside of your church. And I stand by my statement that you should meet new people
