Possibilities -It’s not the right level of care for you. -You’re unable to be fully emotionally vulnerable -You need to switch therapists -You aren’t engaging with the coursework the Therapist is giving you. You should be practicing skills like CBT ETC.

I relate, therapy feels like a chore for me, but I can also acknowledge that it is genuinely helping me. I think it feels like a chore b/c it takes up time which is something that triggers my anxiety/mood problems. TL;DR - it could be a problem, it could also be a natural response. Do some inner reflection or talk to your therapist about it! That’s what they’re there for

if you have a therapist that’s right for you, it won’t feel like a chore. and just bc you don’t click with a therapist doesn’t mean they’re “not very good.” that being said, not many ppl are gonna click with a bad therapist lmao. but TRUST me, when you find a therapist you feel comfortable with, you’ll start looking forward to sessions. it’s such a relief and i wish everyone the best of luck with finding the one that’s right for them :)
