I graduated college about 1 yr and 5 months ago. I decided to take a year off for mental health reasons. Well all I did was mess up my sleep schedule and didn’t figure anything out. I’m too anxious and depressed to get a job, but I really should get one.

Ok based off everything you wrote: I’m a marketing student. There are graphic design skills that carry over. You might like that. There are always marketing internships, year round if you’re into sports. Decent place to start. If you can’t afford therapy, there are some good YouTubers like letmesaveyou or good podcasts out there, and if you’re religious at all most priests will do spiritual direction which is always free and the next best thing in my experience. You could always get an (1/2)

I’ve done my research and I just can’t see myself doing any kind of job. Most stuff it seems requires years of experience OR communication skills (and I have neither). I know I need therapy… BUT I DONT THINK I CAN AFFORD IT.

And yes I have a degree, but it’s something I ended up hating at the end (graphic design). I know you don’t have to enjoy your job, I’ve already accepted that I’ll probably hate any job I get. But I don’t know how I’m going to function enough to even work like a minimum wage job 😭

I legit feel like I’m in a rock and a hard place rn. I’ve never had any job but I need one. But just the thought of applying for a job makes me sick to my stomach.

Also most minimum wage jobs it seems like you have to deal with customers/ randos and that just seems horrific to me

(2/2) level job at some place like the gym, movie theatre, Target, grocery store. Hey for some people that kind or organization and responsibility not to mention the community that comes from co workers, it helps them. God bless you man
