i’m sorry you went through that. it’s unfortunate how attached he is to someone he also doesn’t know personally. any shooting is always a tragedy and it’s certainly an emotionally charged topic, he’s probably even traumatized by what he has seen. but he should know that in spite of different opinions, it’s not worth hurting each other over it. this is why discussing politics w family can bring a lot of tension. i hope things cool down for you soon 🫂
