
I am so sorry that this happened to you. Do not second guess yourself. I went through something similar a few months ago and I also was wondering if it was really anything as well. It is and it’s very important to keep talking about it and spreading awareness. I care. And so do many others. We are survivors and we are with you.
Don’t second guess yourself, you know it was. It has helped me to journal out an experience and talk about it so as not to doubt myself later. If you want, you can try to be as objective as possible. The facts of what happened and the things it made you feel. Then later on, in those moments of doubt, you can look back and remind yourself
Self care after physical trauma is such a long journey 💗 as someone who’s been thru it: self care looks different every day. Some days it looks like talking to people, other days it looks like a bath, fuzzy socks & crying. Maybe people don’t know what happened, or maybe they do & they’re just being selfish or maybe they don’t know what you need. Do you know what you need? (Talking it out, spending time w someone, a hug etc) Don’t gaslight yourself! Show up for yourself 💗
