My father is emotionally unstable and while he’s given me everything one needs to survive, he’s also keeping me (20 years old) on the leash you’d expect a young teenager to have. As in ask permission for everything, walk on eggshells and always agree, don’t talk unless you’re spoken to. My mom is also sucky because she was physically abusive and then got old and her memory loss made her weird to me. Generally not great both way. Not awful, but I need freedom
