you’re not insane! and you’re not alone in feeling that way. i know it’s really difficult, but try to find coping mechanisms that replace cutting. from someone who used to self harm, it will get better i promise, and you will overcome this

I used to be this way I get it. I still feel this way sometimes but the longer you go without it the easier it will be

i feel so much guilt around it. shame because i know my parents know and we just dance around the topic. i’m humiliated and embarrassed to still do it and crave it

it’s okay to feel embarrassed, but there’s no need too! don’t feel guilty, you haven’t done anything wrong. it’s just about finding safe ways to cope rather than self harming. maybe seek out professional help, or someone you can talk too. you can also research healthy coping mechanisms, and there are many fidget toys that help prevent sh too
