The last thing you wanna do is let the news control your mental health. NEVER let that happen

I’ve never been more hopeful for our future. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. 8 years of bush gave us 8 years of Obama, just imagine what 8 years of Trump will be met with. Things will get worse, but that only means they’ll get better

Well im very worried about the healthcare system with the “big beautiful bill” bc I’m disabled and with ICE getting so much bigger now bc my partner/his family is Hispanic. His dad immigrated here and has darker skin and ICE seems to be pretty indiscriminate with who they’re taking away :/

I totally understand! But if I were you I would take a look and read through the bill. There is definitely more good than bad in it. Don’t believe the media!!!! I simply just don’t watch any news anymore and do my own research trust me I was worried at first until I looked through the 100 some pages of the BBB

I see you’re mad but just chill. If you read through the bill it proposes federal healthcare cuts aimed at saving money over 10 years. These include limiting Medicaid for some non-citizens, ending Medicare reimbursements for unpaid hospital bills, making payments equal across care settings, and improving how unpaid care is handled. Together, these changes could save hundreds of billions but may affect access for vulnerable groups.

“May affect access for vulnerable groups” is a WILD way of saying “rural Americans will absolutely certainly die because of this” That “money saving” means absolute jack shit when you throw away every penny saved on corporate tax breaks

Because it’s not all true. Just hang in through the next 4 years I promise nothing bad is going to happen and I doubt you we will notice anything different

Are you fucking stupid? We’re ALREADY seeing bad things happen. This bill is literally going to increase the debt by more than any other bill in American history
