i can’t stop crying. i failed college algebra for a SECOND time. all because i didn’t realize the testing center was closed on fridays so now i can’t take my final. i feel like a fucking wreck. i’m disgusted with myself. my gpa is so low bc of this stupid

do you think there’s a possibility that you could be neurodivergent? often times neurodivergent students do great in high school and then really struggle in college. i’m not diagnosing you ofc, but it’s something to look into. wishing you the best OP :)

class and now i’m worried no uni will want me bc of it. i was a 4.2 student in hs. idk what happened.

i got diagnosed with adhd this past may (and i’m about to enter my second year of college). also i think my psychologist was hinting at me having autism but she can’t officially say that bc it wasn’t an autism eval (but she also doesn’t want me to get officially diagnosed bc of the govt rn)

okay this makes more sense then. college can be really challenging for neurodivergent students because you have more independence and responsibilities, which can quickly lead to burnout which is typically experienced more severely by neurodivergent individuals. i say all this as someone who has autism and adhd. what personally helped me was finding a planner that worked well with my brain (i use notion) so i could keep track of all my assignments and important dates, and i also have been

working on taking breaks throughout the day to manage autistic burnout. i’ve also been focusing on getting enough sleep every night. this is just what works for me, but if you wanna give these things a try go ahead :)
