im so happy for u that I genuinely felt my eyes water, I remember this feeling and it is the best ever :) I was so scared of starting bipolar meds but they gave me this feeling and it saved my life❤️

I will warn u though, idk if yours is from meds or not, but try not to be too scared if you see a symptom shine through or have a rough mental health day. The first time I noticed one of my symptoms a while after starting meds and feeling like I was getting better, I spiraled and thought that I was losing my progress. so just try not to let yourself get into that thought process bc even normal people have bad days if that makes sense!!

awe i’m SO glad you found meds that work so well for you 💞 it’s terrifying starting the journey & once you’re on it there are many ups & downs (though mostly ups) & it can be exhausting but becoming knowing that you’re becoming the best version of yourself & that you’re doing it FOR yourself is so worth it, i’m so proud of you🥹

ironically (& i’m not at all saying this is good for everyone, & maybe it won’t work for another period in my life) but it’s actually me coming off my meds & going on fish oil supplements with vitamin d. i’ve been on meds for 8 years & have tried everything under the sun, some will feel great for years then will hit a point where i realize it’s been numbing me more than anything. part of it was definitely that i smoked too much weed & my mental health took a sharp decline at the same time

& i ended up losing most of myself & my personality & couldn’t hold conversations with people, almost was in a permanent brain fog for a year & a half, but the past week ive been the best i’ve felt & feels like i can think & function & feel a little bit again 🩷
