Thought I was cured by depression but I’ve been feeling apathetic to the ten thousand problems I’ve got going on right now. Will probably be moving, losing medical care, dogs aboutta die. Is now the time to call a psych?

honestly for me it’s the 10 thousand things going on in my life that cause me to be apathetic instead of the other way around, sometimes you have more stressors in your life than your body/mind can handle so it just tunes it all out. maybe it could be the same for you?

See what therapist you can get on your healthcare before you lose it might help a bit. there’s a lot of drug recovery programs that get covered by health insurance so if you have a substance problem, that’s always a good place to start. You can get therapy and help with substance

That’s kind of when I decided I really needed to focus on finding a psych, the apathy was so bad that literally everything was disinteresting

Appreciate the help, but I don’t have any substance issues. I’m just trans with Medicaid in America 👍

As a person with substance issues. I’m sorry for your situation. I swear our country’s not actually this dumb we will get over it…..eventually. Your emotions are valid, you are stronger than you think. Asking for help is not weak I hope things get better!
