i’m too ashamed of my situation to admit it to anyone and actually help myself like i’ve got a therapist and i just go in there and act like im doing well because i don’t want her to think im a loser

It’s hard to make progress when we are not able to talk about the things that really need to be worked on. It makes sense that you feel shame about whatever it is and it makes sense that you’re having a hard time moving past that. What is your feared outcome if you did bring the topic up? And how realistic is that really?
