sometimes you have to put yourself first but do what you can to try to save the dog even if that means giving it away to a better place

Do you know any neighbors or anything that could “take in a stray” so you at least wouldnt have to worry about him? Just someone who is kind and understanding and could help him disappear for you. Like doggie witness protection lol
