I will definitely say I’m Costa Rican (at least Costa Rican-American) and when I’m in public, people speak to me in Spanish and almost never question where I’m from cuz I don’t have an North American accent. But I’m still an American. It’s where I was born and where I was educated. In Costa Rica, I’m Costa Rican. In the US, I’m American. Simple as that
