Spanish is my first language around third grade i learned English and I’ve been bilingual ever since im 21 and i feel like recently i can hear my Spanish sound more pocho like because i was fluent in Spanish i can hear where i mess up at and now much my Spanish has gotten worse

Happened to me, first language even living in PHX but moved to a whiter area at age 6, completely lost it in like 2-3 years, I started relearning at 11 and am doing pretty ok, not perfect, but pretty alright at age 18

yes I’m actually a long term international student from Spain, which is even more embarrassing. I’ve been in the us for like 12 years now
