woah cool!! i don’t think i’ve played in a world for this long unless it’s on xbox, but i usually play on my ipad if im away from home. i really wanna try hardcore but i can barely survive in easy mode 😅 how do you manage to get away from monsters? zombies open doors in this type of mode right?
i am a COWARD when it comes to mobs. i didn’t go into actual caves until i was fully geared and max enchanted, and i don’t really have a need to. i only strip mined and have like a dozen tunnel entrances at diamond level under my main base area. i never missed a sleep unless i was underground or safely enclosed in my afk creeper or skeleton farms. a shield was my best friend until i made a no-chance-of-dying raid farm and have chests of totems now. i didnt fight the dragon until hundreds
of days in, and really had to get the courage to fight the three withers i’ve fought for beacons over a thousand days in. i haaateeee the nether and spend as little time as i can there, but beacons are so nice and skeletons gotta die. i just took things very slow and to be honest, i have grown really attached to the world and have an updated backup daily in case i die so i wont lose the world. if i could change it back to normal survival i would but alas.
iron spawns best at y=16ish and diamond clusters are more common the lower you are so i have my mine at y= -57 and mine in a 1 wide, 3 tall line for however long i feel like. i put torches on one side of the wall every so often so i can see and spawn proof the area. if i run into a cave at the iron level i block up that line and start a new one lol. but iron is less needed by mining once you have an iron farm with villagers
