I have this ~256 block long tunnel to the ocean that I’ve been meaning to decorate like this and add a minecart track to. I’m realizing it kind of makes more sense for it to be an ice track, but I can’t come up with a way to combine the themes. Any ideas?

I don’t know if it would work. But I’d try, ice in the ground first just to see if the campfires would be a big enough buffer. If not and I would try ice in between the campfires. Then trapdoors on top of the campfires?

Maybe give up on ice and just use a minecart with the speed trick. If you put the rails between the campfire logs, it would be less noticeable. You could also just use a horse 🐴 The forest theme looks AMAZING btw, I would love to have something like this in my world even if it meant I had to walk.

if anyone has a better idea for how to decorate an ice boat tunnel i’m all ears too, i might just stick with the original plan for the vibes but if there’s a more fun ice boat idea im totally down. i always do minecarts and if there was ever a time to make a highway for the first time a tunnel to the ocean seems perfect

maybe make the tunnel a little wider so you can put the ice in between the campfires, and then maybe you can put moss blocks on top of the ice

A dark cave transition.

My friend was making an ice tunnel with rainbow walls and ceiling so that when you zoom through it gets all trippy. I think that the ice could work for the forest theme too if you maybe add some blue ice in the walls behind some glow berries.

Make it look like the ice land in taking over the greenery!! Maybe start it all ice, then slowly start to blend the themes and as you get closer to the destination it could be all jungle/greenery

Cover the ice track with moss carpets?

i don’t think ice boating works with anything on top of the ice unfortunately. my tunnel is 7 blocks wide though so technically i could put the ice between campfires!

i’m in bedrock edition, so anything on the ice will make it just act like a normal block unfortunately

I’m just spit ballin here. Campfires is a unique block I don’t work with often but I love the look of

Or like a winter wonderland type beat would be really nice, wish they had ice covered grass blocks

ooh i love this idea! my base is the forest theme so having it transition from forest to ice as it gets closer to the ocean sounds really cool
