Fire aspect kinda negates the looting no ?

get rid of Knockback II and trade Smite for Sharpness and you'll be golden

Fire aspect and Looting aren’t great to have on the same sword tho as far as I’m aware. I’m pretty sure if the mob dies by the flame and not you actually delivering the final blow, you don’t get extra drops

Smite is stronger if its not a multi player world lots of undead

I personally leave off the kb and fire aspect but otherwise is good yeah. I do sharpness on my sword and smite on my axe, but iirc axes are worse damage in bedrock the difference is sharpness adds damage for hitting anything, while smite is more but only counts if it’s undead

Thank you for explaining. I understand why leaving fire aspect (endermen go wild) and knockback (swords r close range so you want mob to stay close) but your saying smite only adds damage to undead mobs aka animals? Or r certain enemy mobs dead vs undead?

Undead mobs are things like zombies, skeletons, and their variants, and I think the Wither also takes more from smite

yeah, what 3 said smite is more damage than sharpness, but for normal zombies and skeletons you’ll two shot them with either unless you crit, so it doesn’t matter much. Kinda just depends whether you want to crit to one shot zombies and skeles, or prefer to one shot spiders and kill endermen a little faster. On java I like smite on the axe because it’ll one shot zombies and skeletons without critting, but I don’t think it will on bedrock

I see now, thank you both very much!

Sharpness deals extra damage to all mobs whereas smite deals even more damage to undead mobs only

And to my logic, zombies and skeletons are some of the most harmless hostile mobs so I’m willing to sacrifice 1-hit KO’s on them in exchange for more damage on the mobs I’m scared of (endermen but witch more than anything)

The upcoming set of updates is going to make smite a better option in single player in bedrock so it’s thinking ahead

what do you mean by that? I don’t think the baby mobs one has any impact, have they started talking about the next one?
