honestly coppers pretty quick to mine. Its absolutely everywhere and if you have fortune 3 you basically get a stack of copper per vein you find.

Hours. I’ve dug metro tunnels over several thousand blocks, dug 2 16x16xΔY quarries to deepslate, and spent several hours caving / linear mining.
