 They give the freezing effect when they hit the player and throws a new ice ball at players so it has a range attack. They may drop it when killed and it can be used to brew the new frozen potion

I thought the gist was just 'Minecraft creator studio update' with a subtle nuance of 'go to the Bedrock marketplace and pay for slop if you want to keep achievements'.
