a lot of people want it to replace gold in the crafting recipe of powered rails so it can be easier to obtain and because gold feels like a placeholder

that’s actually a really good point. i had no idea it needed gold i always thought it was iron but ive never built one and either way iron seems unnecessary too. i hope they can add this

That and I would like for gold powdered rails be a faster minecart track. Makes no sense that the default speed is slower than the fastest horse … or sprint jumping.

Gold is used in wiring and electronics so isn’t too far off.
