agree. ppl can make the argument that other teams can do it but they dont. everyone is gonna run their team dif bc at the end of a day its business but over 1B deffered is just insane. mlb need to do something ab it

Fr other teams can and should spend money. But over $1B in deferred money is literally buying championships. Even if other teams can do the same, wouldn’t that be HORRIBLE for baseball in the long-term? It’s horrible if one team does it and it’s horrible if all teams do it. It’s just a dirty strategy. We don’t need a salary cap. We need a deferred money cap.
