I’m watching the italk studios vid on that Phillies cardinals game and the umpire like went to the mound to give the cardinals time to recover after a ball hit him in the nuts during JT realmuto’s at bat. Just feels like someone as experienced as realmuto would strike up a friendly convo about a time he got hit like that too, since the teams aren’t really rivals or anything and the players probably don’t hate each other

I only ever played once in 2nd grade but I imagine baseball requires you to be a lot more calm and composed and you’re not gonna be harnessing like anger and high emotions like you would in a hockey basketball or football game
