Also it’s really shitty ang dismissive to see somebody changing their mind on a movie and dismissing it as “Well, they must have saw that other people liked it so they’re lying to fit in with the crowd.” I’m a human being with complex feelings, and it’s a natural part of being a cinephile that my opinion on a movie may change with time (even if it’s a very fast one like this one). I hated the Zone of Interest when it came out, and it’s grown to be one of my favorites of the decade. Love and hate
have so many similarities that you’ll often find yourself drawn to things you felt strongly about and start developing new feelings on them. Digger also happens to be a very bold and unique movie that can be interpreted in a lot of different ways. Art doesn’t change, but we do, and so does the world around us. So fuck right off with this anti-intellectual bullshit and try and comprehend that someone might just genuinely feel a certain way about a movie instead of just bandwagoning.
