for what it’s worth, i really appreciate you watching the movie after i told you it’s my favorite. like the movie or not, that is a very kind gesture. to be fair, i don’t think it’s a very good introduction to kiarostami’s movies. watching the movie being a little familiar with his style really enhanced the experience for me. regardless, you probably wouldn’t like his movies in general if you considered this a “nothing burger,” but i would still like to point where is the friend’s house and
close-up your way. anyway, i don’t really know how to put into words what taste of cherry means to me. it’s helped me through a lot though, and i appreciate all the little things in my life that shouldn’t be overlooked because of it. are mulberries or cherries or the sunset really enough to make life worth living? who’s to say, but they’re certainly worth something.
