Exactly! And I found a lot of it pretty predictable too

I’ll still take a goofy pirate over bear’s dumbass waffling for 2 hours.

No its a deep movie. He wasnt supposed to be scary but happened to be scary for some. He is supposed to be proof of how the backrooms remembers inappropriately bc its been through so many iterations of something and so “goofy” shit is made

Ik that was explained. The first part of the movie and dinner scene was so unsettling tho I think I just was hoping for more at the end

I understand and agree with u but im happy they went goofy bc it was more unsettling that way to me

“predictable” is an interesting choice of words for obsession💀 the main premise is pretty straight forward and then there’s the micro twists, like her cooking the cat, which how would anyone even predict that will happen

I didn’t say the whole movie was, just parts of it. Like the car jumpscare (Sarah’s death), the ending scene, Ian and Sarah dying, etc

Sarah getting attacked was predictable, how hands off brutal it was was not.

Yeah because how tf is some 5 ft 110 pound woman breaking the window and slamming her head against the steering that many times before Sarah can even react? Possessed or not it was kinda silly. Or how she had such good aim with the gun when Ian walked in.
