What is the closest thing to a perfect trilogy where there isn’t a massive dip in quality for any of the movies. 3 come in mind to me 1. Original Star Wars trilogy 2. Back to the Future 3. Dark Knight

Cornetto Trilogy (anyone who says The Worlds End is anything less than great is lying) Technically it’s a trilogy despite none of them connect to the others

Putting The Dark Knight trilogy on here is laughable considering how terrible Rises is.

I agree I genuinely think the dark knight is only famous because of heath ledger

What didn’t I understand? Banes plan is terrible. The characters are idiots. Talia’s death is hilarious. Bruce not only gets back to Gotham magically but also doesn’t die in the end because “autopilot” even though we saw him in the cockpit.

I just rewatched it, and while I’m not necessarily a huge fan of the ending, I think it sends a good message. Definitely still holds up, love all three movies

We clearly enjoyed these movies for different reasons if you think Rises is on par with Begins or TDK. So you might be the one who has bad taste

Also don’t downvote my comment explaining what’s wrong with the movie and then respond to another one saying my problem is my bad taste if you won’t even address the points I made.

Heath Ledger gives a good performance for sure but there’s another half a movie to contend with in TDK and that stuff is pretty wack
