It’s honestly crazy how there’s like no reference to Iron Man in BND given how tied he was to the first couple Holland films. Not that I’m complaining or anything, that was always my least favorite part of early MCU Spidey’s characterization

What if Jon Favreau died in NWH and he became like Peter’s new Uncle Ben?

I honestly liked that early MCU Spidey characterization. Iron Man and Spidey were always connected in Civil War, Homecoming, Infinity War, and Endgame.

Just not for me, personally. Like, with all due respect, just makes the character look bitchmade, and I don’t want my Spider-Man to be bitchmade. If I were trapped in a burning building, and it was some bitchmade Spider-Man coming to save my life, I’d tell him to put me back. Put me back in the fire Spidey, let Moon Knight have a go at it or smth

Fair take tbh….. But I like how Tony Stark filled the Father Figure role for a little bit though. We got some cool scenes: Like Iron Man/Spidey taking down Ebony Maw. Iron Man/Spidey working with the other heroes to restrain Thanos on Titan. Spidey saying “we won Mr. Stark” during the emotional Iron Man death scene at Endgame. (Maybe or maybe not we’ll get to see how Spidey reacts to seeing Dr. Doom with Tony Stark’s face)
