I also think bear is lowkey meant to represent the fact a lot of feelings of desire and infatuation we have as humans aren’t always the most moral or considerate to the object of our interest. Like literally anyone at some point in their life would have worded a wish like that (assuming they didn’t know it was real)

People argue that he was evil for the wish, but I don’t think that inherently made him evil bc he didn’t think it would do anything
