Now imagine a TV show with a damn near perfect first 4 seasons, followed by a slow, but rapidly accelerating decline, into an ending so bad it retroactively ruins rewatching the good parts. No writers strike even involved, just a couple dumbasses who ran out of source material to adapt.

Compare the first season of Stranger Things to the last one. Season one is like, an actual drama and every character has a reason to be there
