Wonka was actually really cute and wholesome! I liked it, but I also like musicals so be warned it’s a musical lol. Some songs were really catchy, and it’s a bit cringy and cheesy!

I surprisingly liked it. Obviously it doesn’t compare to the OG. But it was solid imo

Made the mistake of watching it on the plane once. Did not like it. I also don’t like the beetlejuice sequel.

If this movie was a color, it would be "sparkly beige." I watched it. It does just enough to be just OK. It was predictable, unmemorable, and inoffensive. It's as 2.5 stars as it gets. It's especially hard not to compare it to its significantly more creative predecessors. I would even go as far as to say it needs to lean into the "musical" more. It's theatre without the drama.
