
If this movie was a color, it would be "sparkly beige." I watched it. It does just enough to be just OK. It was predictable, unmemorable, and inoffensive. It's as 2.5 stars as it gets. It's especially hard not to compare it to its significantly more creative predecessors. I would even go as far as to say it needs to lean into the "musical" more. It's theatre without the drama.
