Moana being your favorite movie of all time is crazy work, but I gotta respect for saying your true favorites instead of just putting foreign or pretentious movies to be different.

full disclosure, i have nothing against OP and their list. if those are truly your favorites, that’s more than valid… but it’s also just as valid for your favorites to be more obscure or artsy or whatever. the best way to engage with movies and movie buffs is to approach a movie like moana and a movie like… let’s say stalker, and understand there’s a whole world of people who adore one and a whole world of people who adore the other.
