I personally think this movie was great, around a 9-10 as far as superhero movies. If it were to be rated alongside all superhero solo movies I would see this as a top 5. I did have a few issues however, i think the lex luther videogame fight stuff was a bit weird, very reminiscent of mysterio in far from home. Almost felt like a copy. Definitely a lot of guardians of the galaxy vibes which is to be expected but it really felt like the same universe. Justice gang was great and so was superman

Plot wise probably Gunn’s weakest but the humor and action sequences 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽

Really good stuff! High 7/10. Great casting, VFX, and performances across the board, and successfully fun and engaging throughout. That said, I feel like this could’ve been genuinely incredible had the script just been a little tighter. The comedy doesn’t always hit and it deflated the tension at points, and some scenes that had tons of potential like the sit-down with Pa or Mali’s hostage scene went by too fast to be as effective as they could’ve been.
