I often find their stories to be even better than American films, but with my ADHD, it can be hard to keep up with subtitles or dubbed audio, considering how often I need the subtitles just to properly process the dialogue in American films.

you will get used to it, i struggle to watch a movie without subtitles now lol. obviously this post isn’t about people like you, but i encourage you to get out of your comfort zone!

i have ADHD and i personally struggle to pay attention without subtitles too, if im struggling with foreign films i just rewind if i miss something. when i started, i would have to rewind a lot, but not nearly as much anymore
