Yes I’ve been saying this, Christian bale is not a great Batman (but the dark knight is an amazing movie)

YESSS!!!!! Take those two away and you have a Batman with fried vocals cords, two whitewashed villains, and a third whose entire plot line is stolen from a way better cartoon version.

Let me put it this way: they’re good action films, but they’re not good Batman films for the reasons I listed above.

i agree. i think the batman 2022 with pattinson was a much better batman film, i loved the neo noir style and detective story. i think nolan was too wrapped up in trying to explain everything and it make it “realistic”, which took away from how batman is literally from a comic and is never gonna really be realistic.

Oh he was and it’s especially obvious in Ra’s al Ghul (who was one of the whitewashed villains) considering a large part of his backstory is the Lazarus Pits and they were completely missing from the film.
