Y’all are actually the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet. Superman was intentionally written to be woke, as were virtually all superheroes of the time. He’s LITERALLY an allegory for the struggles that immigrants in America face

Superheroes weren’t made to be “woke” dawg people are taking this too far. They’re just meant to be heroes with superpowers and shit why is everyone making this all political. Its a superman movie not some agenda setting media like god damn

I think the controversy about this movie being woke is insane, but I don’t think your post is accurate either. He’s not “literally” an allegory for the immigrant experience, though you can draw parallels to that and certain parts of his story. I mean the first comic, he gets sent from a planet that wasn’t even yet named krypton, put in an orphanage and adopted, and then starts doing cool shit. How is that an allegory for the struggle of immigrants?
