it’s performative and surface level. i’m not convinced he genuinely believes a lot of what he tried to portray, and is just hopping on the wave of incel horror. i think curry barker is actually misogynistic based on some of his skits. and it seems he doesn’t even fully understand the movie. he has made conflicting statements in different interviews, and things actors say also conflict with what he says.
