Watched After Hours last night. Goddamnnnn! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie take place in such a small amount of time. So much energy. Clearly an influence on Uncut Gems. Incredible movie.

I just watched King of Comedy. Wow. My favorite of the three so far. Maybe the most underrated movie I’ve ever seen. I totally get the Joker comparisons, but I’m glad that both films stand alone as their own thing. I’ll watch After Hours next. Just wow.

I still love Marvel, but I wish I checked out stuff like this way sooner. It’s easy to understand peoples’ criticisms with modern cinema with this kinda stuff in mind. I just didn’t realize movies could feel like this.
