I just saw it and damn yeah I liked it a lot. I can’t believe it’s getting a lot of hate. Like 8 people of 10 who walked out of the theater next to me murmured about it being ass I’m like did we watch the same movie?

Granted these are dumbass casuals who probably expected some paranormal ghost stuff. I shouldn’t hate people for having their own opinion but I question if they even understood the plot

I actually really wanted to like this movie and cannot understand where the hype is coming from. I think it his movie is fun, but exists in this weird limbo of trying to take itself seriously while giving us way too many heavy handed or dry humor moments. It gets super meta at times and almost feels as if it’s insulting your intelligence. I didn’t get any of the esoteric, though provoking, serious issues or social commentary I was expecting out of this film. Nor do I think it was that original.

Hmmmm. I liked it personally. I agree that it lacked depth but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy watching it
